 I am not going to make any promises. But I can give you some guarantees.
I guarantee that if I am elected:

East Tennessee will get on the U.S. map, as well as on the map of the world. That is very good for business!

My election will be a crushing blow to the evil forces in the war on terrorism*. That is very good for homeland security.

Price of oil will come down. That is very good for the pocketbook!

 

If the above did not happen, I will not run for re-election in 2008. That is guaranteed!

Moreover, I will never, ever vote for a tax increase. I would resign, but I would not vote for a tax increase.
